Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Below is a list of frequently asked questions by our customers. You should be able to find out most of the information you require to purchase a dress from us in this section.

Q: Why are your wedding dresses less than half the price of those in the store?
A: This is very simple. We run a purely online bridal gown store, we do not have a showroom. The fact that we have very few overheads means that we only need to add a very small profit margin
to our wholesale prices. We don't have to pay rent, electricity, shopfitting etc. and we don't have to hold stock of every dress for customers to see and try on. The quality of our wedding dresses is exactly the same as those in your local bridal boutique, the prices are just much lower.

Q: How long will my dress take to make?
A: As all of our wedding gowns are individually made at the time of order they take around 40 days to arrive to your door. We will let you know the progress of your dress every step of the way by email so know exactly what is happening. If you are ordering a custom bridal dress then please make sure you allow a few more days for us to send you a quotation as we may have to source fabrics that we don't usually stock.

Q: What if I am not happy with my wedding gown?
A: If you receive a dress that is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, we will be happy to provide a full refund or exchange. Please contact us via email within 48 hours of receiving the dress and let us know what is wrong. We will advise you upon receipt of your email how to return the dress to us. Please repack the dress in it's original packaging.
If you opt for a refund we will credit your card back for the full purchase price including freight once we receive the dress. If you simply change your mind about the dress we can still offer a refund or exchange, however a 15 per cent restocking fee will apply. We also cannot refund shipping costs and you will need to pay for return courier to us.
Q: How do I know what size to buy?
A: Please have someone take your measurments for you and select the closest size based on the sizing chart below. If the size is not a perfect fit you can have the dress altered once you receive it or alternatively order a custom fitted dress. It is not recommended that you measure yourself as this is likely to cause errors in your measurements.

Q: How do I take my measurements?
A: The images below show how to take your measurements for a custom order dress. Please provide as many of the measurements as possible, as it will result in a better fitting dress.
Bust, waist and hip measurements are exactly as they sound.
Shoulder to shoulder is from the edge of one shoulder to the other, measured across the back.
Shoulder to bust is from the top of your shoulder to bust point (nipple)
Shoulder to waist is from the top of your shoulder, OVER your bust to your waist.
Arm grith gives us the size for the sleeve. Provide the measurements for the size you are comfortable wearing.
Hollow to Hem is the measurement from the base of the neck to the bottom of the hem. If your dress is quite full, measure out on an angle to allow for the fullness.

Q: What colours are the dresses available in?
A: Most dresses come standard in white or ivory, however other colours are available on request. Please select a colour code from the colour chart below if you are ordering a colour dress. Click on the colour chart to see a larger version.
